If I have to talk about a time I watched a famous person being interviewed, I would definitely like to tell you about an interview with a well-known singer I watched online.
Personally, I think it was such an interesting interview because it showed a very different side of her compared with what I normally saw on social media.
I watched it on YouTube a few months ago while I was relaxing at home after finishing my homework.
The interview was mainly about her career, how she dealt with pressure and what she did when she received negative comments online.
At first, I thought it would just be another promotional interview where she talked about her new music. But it turned out to be much more personal.
She talked quite openly about times when she felt insecure and even considered taking a break from her career.
What impressed me most was that she didn’t try to make herself sound perfect. She admitted that fame could be exciting, but it also came with a lot of pressure.
I found that quite refreshing because celebrities often look as if they have perfect lives.
After watching it, I felt I could relate to her more as a normal person rather than just seeing her as a celebrity.
It also reminded me that what we see online doesn’t always show the whole picture.

Mình thấy điều đó khá mới mẻ vì người nổi tiếng thường trông như thể có một cuộc sống hoàn hảo.
Sau khi xem, mình cảm thấy có thể đồng cảm với cô ấy như một người bình thường hơn là chỉ coi cô ấy là người nổi tiếng.
Nó cũng nhắc mình rằng những gì chúng ta thấy trên mạng không phải lúc nào cũng phản ánh toàn bộ sự thật.

What should people wear to a job interview?
SAMPLE ANSWER
Well, I think it depends on the type of job. For a formal office position, people probably need to dress professionally because their appearance creates a first impression. But if someone is applying for a creative job, like graphic design, the workplace may be more relaxed. I don’t think people need extremely expensive clothes, though. They just need to look neat, clean and appropriate for the company.

Why do companies use interviews when hiring people?
SAMPLE ANSWER
I guess because a CV doesn’t tell them everything. Someone may have excellent qualifications on paper, but an interview helps employers see how they communicate and respond under pressure. For example, a job may involve dealing with customers, so the company needs to know whether the person can speak clearly and stay calm. Of course, interviews aren’t perfect because some capable people become very nervous, but they still give employers more information.

How can people prepare for an interview?
SAMPLE ANSWER
I think they should first find out about the company and understand the job they’re applying for. They can also practise common questions, but I wouldn’t recommend memorising complete answers because that can sound unnatural. For example, it’s better to prepare a few real examples of times when you solved a problem or worked in a team. That way, you have ideas ready but can still speak naturally.

How do people usually get job interviews?
SAMPLE ANSWER
These days, I think most people apply online through company websites or job platforms. They send a CV and maybe a cover letter, and if the employer is interested, they’ll invite them for an interview. Personal connections can also matter in some industries because someone may recommend you for a position. But even then, you usually still need to show that you’re suitable for the job.

Should famous people be careful about what they say in interviews?
SAMPLE ANSWER
Yeah, definitely, because their words can reach a huge audience very quickly. If a famous person makes an offensive or irresponsible comment, it may influence fans or damage their reputation. At the same time, I don’t think celebrities should be expected to say something perfect every second. They’re still human, so small mistakes can happen. But on serious topics, they probably need to think carefully before speaking.

What kinds of people are interviewed frequently?
SAMPLE ANSWER
Probably politicians, celebrities, athletes and business leaders because the public wants to know what they think or what they’re doing. Experts can also be interviewed when something important happens, like a health issue or an economic problem. I suppose people who are in the public eye have to get used to answering questions quite often. Sometimes they may even be asked the same question again and again.
