THE AREA YOU LIVE IN

I’d say it’s fairly quiet. There’s some traffic during busy times, but it’s nowhere near as noisy as the centre of a big city. That’s one of the things I like about living there.

Yeah, generally. Most people say hello when they see each other, and neighbours are usually willing to help out if someone needs something. We’re not extremely close, but the atmosphere is friendly.

Yeah, I do. It’s convenient, not too crowded and most of the places I need are nearby. I also like that it feels familiar because I’ve lived there for a long time.

I usually go to a café, a small park or somewhere to grab something to eat. I don’t need anything fancy; I just like places where I can hang out with friends and relax for a while.

Not personally. I’ve heard of a few people from the wider area who are well known, but I’ve never met them. In everyday life, I mostly just know neighbours, teachers and local people.

There have been quite a few changes. I’ve noticed more shops, cafés and houses springing up, and some roads have been improved too. The area feels more developed than it did a few years ago.

Yeah, I know a few of them quite well. We usually run into each other outside the house and have a quick chat. My parents know more of the neighbours than I do, though.
