STREET MARKET

I’m not really sure because I live in Vietnam, but from what I’ve seen online, street markets seem pretty common in China. They appear to sell all kinds of things, from local food to clothes and souvenirs. I guess it also depends on the area.

I think it was a few weeks ago when I went with my mum. We picked up some fruit and a few snacks, and then we just looked around for a while. I don’t go very often, but I quite like the atmosphere.

I’d probably go for a shopping mall because it’s cleaner and more comfortable, especially when the weather is hot. I can also browse around without worrying about rain. That said, street markets are usually cheaper and have a more local feel.

Well, in Vietnam, people usually pick up everyday things like fruit, vegetables, snacks and clothes. A lot of people also go there to buy fresh produce because it can be cheaper than in supermarkets. So local markets are still part of everyday life.
